Summer Heat, Cosmic Reckonings

The weather is heating up — and so are the skies. Saturn has now joined Neptune, Venus, Chiron, Eris, and Ceres in fiery Aries, while Mars charges ahead through fellow fire sign Leo. The result? Things are getting spicy.

On May 15, the same day Ceres — Earth goddess and fierce protector — entered Aries, Louisiana’s Nottoway Plantation burned to the ground. That same day, Chiron (the wounded healer) and Eris (goddess of discord) were joined in a lengthy and potent conjunction. With Venus and Mars forming a flowing trine, the feminine and masculine archetypes aligned, symbolically working together to expose and repair centuries-old harm.

In her myth, Ceres descends to the underworld to reclaim her daughter — an act of maternal power and sacred justice. Eris, often misunderstood as a troublemaker, doesn’t create chaos — she reveals what’s out of alignment. She shines light on the suppressed, cracks the illusions, and triggers necessary reckoning.

Now, with both Saturn and Neptune in Aries, we’re witnessing ancestral wounds rise to the surface — not to be ignored, but to be acknowledged, integrated, and cleared.

Saturn Meets Neptune: A 36-Year Cycle of Rebirth

Saturn and Neptune align approximately every 36 years, beginning a new chapter in our collective story — where structure (Saturn) meets vision (Neptune). Their conjunctions symbolize shifts in ideology, systems, and mythologies.

  • Saturn = boundaries, institutions, tangible systems

  • Neptune = spirituality, illusion, collective longing

The last time Saturn and Neptune met in Aries was in 1703, at 11° Aries. That era bore themes of:

  • Conquest: Framing warfare and colonization as honorable missions

  • Empires of domination: Military, religious, and plantation systems entrenching power

  • Suppression: Silencing of feminine wisdom and Indigenous cultures

But this time, the 2026 conjunction happens at 0° Aries — the absolute origin point of the zodiac. Pure potential. A beginning so total, it resets the cosmic clock.

Back in 1703, Pluto was in Leo —the sign of kings and empire. Today, Pluto is in Aquarius — the sign of the people, the rebel, the visionary.

This marks a radical inversion of power.

From Collapse to Creation

The themes of this new Saturn–Neptune cycle echo through the events of 2025:

  • Burning down the myth of supremacy — Literally and symbolically, outdated systems are collapsing

  • Rebuilding from the ashes — Healing ancestral and cultural trauma, especially related to slavery, patriarchy, and erasure

  • Grassroots spirituality — Breaking free from top-down dogma in favor of embodied, intuitive wisdom

  • Reality vs. Illusion — Can our ideals withstand the test of real-world accountability?

The outer planets invite deep transmutation — they dissolve false narratives and seed new ones. But that process isn’t gentle. It’s catalytic.

A Preview of 2026

This summer offers a powerful preview of what’s to come when Saturn and Neptune conjoin exactly on February 20, 2026. Watch closely: the energies will intensify through the summer, reaching a crescendo before Saturn stations retrograde on September 1, dipping briefly back into Pisces. Neptune follows suit later in the year. In early 2026, they re-enter Aries together — initiating a collective rebirth.

Pay attention to what unfolds in your life and in the world this summer. We’re all part of a much larger story — and it’s just beginning.
