Tension Peaks this Week!
🌕 Strawberry Full Moon & Lunar Culmination
Back in January, the Full Moon in Cancer marked the northernmost moonrise of an 18.6-year lunar standstill cycle. Now, we reach the southern extreme: today’s Strawberry Full Moon is the lowest hanging full moon since 2006. This marks a powerful portal moment, initiating a new cycle that culminates in 2043.
This out-of-bounds Full Moon lands in Sagittarius, the sign ruled by Jupiter, bringing themes of abundance, truth-seeking, and expansive vision. Meanwhile, Jupiter just entered Cancer, ruled by the Moon. This mutual reception — each planet in the other’s domain — magnifies both planetary energies. Together, they blend big-picture optimism (Jupiter/Sagittarius) with emotional attunement and concern for home and family (Moon/Cancer).
In addition, Mercury, the planet of communication, is also traveling out of bounds alongside Jupiter in Cancer. Voices are loud, ideas are bold, and many feel fiercely protective of what they call home.
⚡ This Weekend’s Forecast: Tension Peaks
From June 14–16, action planet Mars in Leo squares off with revolutionary Uranus in Taurus at the critical 29th degree — a placement of urgency, endings, and karmic pressure. The result? A potential eruption of restlessness, rebellion, and volatility.
Just yesterday, a magnitude 3.2 earthquake rattled Los Angeles — and more tremors may be on the way: geologically, socially, or financially.
Prepare for:
Sudden disruptions
Amplified protests and government action
Escalating conflicts and flashpoint conversations
Those with placements near 29 degrees, especially in fixed signs — Taurus, Leo, Scorpio or Aquarius — will be most affected by this urgent and disruptive energy. You may suddenly decide to break free from anything that feels suppressive, outdated, or restrictive.
🧭 Your Compass for Navigating the Storm
The Moon in Sagittarius encourages truth-seeking. Saturn in Aries calls for discipline in action. Together, they offer a reminder:
⚖️ Stand for what you value rather than fighting against what you oppose!
I wince when I hear politicians proclaim, “I will fight for you!” Fighting generates more fighting. We need collaboration, support, problem solving, and advocacy.
This is a time to:
Stay grounded in your truth
Protect what you love
Verify sources before sharing information
Refuse the bait of divisiveness
Choose community over conflict
United we stand. Divided we fall.
Saturday, June 14th, is Flag Day and I’ll be marking the occasion as a reminder that the American Flag is an enduring symbol for all Americans— not just a few.
